Craig Williams

In 1973, I heard Dr. John’s hit song “Right Place” on the radio and soon found the Gumbo album.  I’d never heard anything like those classic New Orleans R&B tunes, and I was hooked. Following New Orleans music led me to Allen Toussaint, Professor Longhair, Kermit Ruffins, Jon Cleary, Stanton Moore, and others too numerous to mention.  I am lucky to have found wonderful and talented musicians who love play these NOLA flavored tunes as much as I do.  I hope you will join us at our next show.

Jean Fineberg

Jean Fineberg has toured and/or recorded with David Bowie, Laura Nyro and Sister Sledge (“We Are Family”) among many others, and has performed at the Grammys in LA, Carnegie Hall in NY, the Kennedy Center in Wash. D.C. and the Monterey and San Francisco Jazz Festivals.

Jodi Durst

Jodi Durst is an upright & electric bassist in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is an extremely diverse musician who has performed with a variety of groups that range from straight-ahead jazz to indie-rock to R&B to punk rock to avante-garde. She holds a Bachelor Degree of Music in Jazz Studies from California Jazz Conservatory.

Jeremy Steinkoler

Jeremy Steinkoler, “A very swinging drummer who’s mastered the art of coordinated independence” (East Bay Express) and “A master of second-line syncopation” (SF Bay Guardian) has been playing drums for over 40 years. His group Mo’Fone has been featured repeatedly at the Monterey & SFJAZZ Festivals, and he performs and records regularly around the Bay Area with numerous bands and artists.
