Craig Williams

In 1973, I heard Dr. John’s hit song “Right Place” on the radio and soon found the Gumbo album.  I’d never heard anything like those classic New Orleans R&B tunes, and I was hooked. Following New Orleans music led me to Allen Toussaint, Professor Longhair, Kermit Ruffins, Jon Cleary, Stanton Moore, and others too numerous to mention.  I am lucky to have found wonderful and talented musicians who love play these NOLA flavored tunes as much as I do.  I hope you will join us at our next show.
